James Davison #33

James Davison comes from a long lineage of professional racecar drivers. His grandfather, Lex Davison, was an Australian Driver’s Champion with an illustrious career to include winning the Australian Grand Prix four times. Today, winners of the Australian Grand Prix are awarded the Lex Davison Trophy, aptly named after the first four-time winner of the race.

James’ father, Jon, also had an illustrious career in motorsports. He was a force to be reckoned with on the track having competed in multiple series to include running the Australian Grand Prix 9 times, owned a Formula 5000 team, was a nationally known racing commentator and operated Sandowns International Raceway for 18 years as promoter.

There is a story to be built around James, which is one of determination, sacrifice and work ethic. He has driven in IndyCar, Indy Lights, Pirelli World Challenge, Australian V8 Supercar, Grand-Am, United Sportscar, Porsche Carrera Cup and Formula BMW.

We are proud to have James Davison as our pro driver for championship effort programs. His ability to drive sports cars competitively along with his charm and movie-star good looks are a strong package. He is a tremendous brand ambassador for our team and the sponsors he represents.

Bryan Heitkotter #05

Nissan and Sony held the first GT Academy in 2008, and since then the program has been defying both common sense and motorsports tradition. The academy takes millions of gamers from around the world and, in a matter of months, turns them into professional racing drivers.

Heitkotter, 35, won North America’s first gamer-to-racer GT Academy competition in 2011. In 2012 and 2013 while driving a Nissan 370Z NISMO for Doran Racing, Heitkotter earned three pole positions, two second qualifying spots, four top ten finishes and a podium. In 2014, Bryan switched to a Nissan Altima for the CA Sports team. There, he earned three podiums and four top five finishes in the Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car (TC) category in six events. In January 2015, behind the wheel of the Doran #41 370Z NISMO, Heitkotter and GT Academy teammate Nick McMillen finished 5th overall in the IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) race at Daytona International Speedway in January 2015.

Bryan became the driver of the Always Evolving #05 Nissan NISMO GT3 GT-R in 2015. During that season, in his first 20 GT-class races, Bryan had 5 class wins and 10 total podium finishes. As a result, he was was pushed into the highest GT-class by the series given his success. Moving to GT with some of the best drivers in the world, Heitkotter has finished on the podium seven times with 2 overall GT class wins.
